Our illustrations are our way of owning the champions in a way that is uniquely LEC. We can use them in multiple ways to help enrich our designs.

We have a unique illustration for each of our LoL champions. Each illustrated in a style inspired by tattoo flash which is prominent in our textures.
Using illustrations
Illustrations are used in a variety of ways to bring stories and content to life. They are always integrated with other toolkit elements as shown in the examples below.
Integration of close crop illustration with player imagery to highlight LoL top plays and results with the champion.

Illustration misuse
Here are some examples to avoid when using illustration.
Don’t crop illustration over key focal points of the image.
Don’t crop illustration over too much of the headline.
Don’t colour illustrations for accent colours.
Don’t use multiple colours per illustration.
Don’t use illustration with Champion imagery.
Don’t use illustration with textures.
Don’t apply effects to illustration.
Don’t crop too much off the illustration in layouts.
